Job summary

Ggiata Delicatessen in Los Angeles is seeking a line cook to join a fast-paced kitchen and contribute to bold flavors and consistent quality. You will prepare and assemble menu items, support daily prep, and help maintain a clean, food-safe kitchen.

We value team players with reliable work ethic who can communicate well in a busy environment, including occasional English/Spanish bilinguals. Training is provided, and growth opportunities exist as the brand expands.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Conversations in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable and adaptable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Execute line stations efficiently during service with speed and accuracy.
• Support daily prep tasks: slicing, portioning, labeling, stocking.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety across kitchen and line.
• Follow all food handling and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and FOH for smooth service flow.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties as needed.
• Take direction from Kitchen leadership and support busy periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
