True Food Kitchen in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen, preparing, cooking, and plating across Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill stations.

This role rewards teamwork, stamina, and flexibility, with nights, weekends, and holidays required. You’ll follow recipes, maintain clean, organized stations, assist with prep and opening/closing tasks, and help ensure high quality presentations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant (preferred).
• Exceptional knife skills and recipe execution
• Passion for great food and quality presentation
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Teamwork, speed, and organization under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist

Responsibilities

• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
