Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques (roasting, grilling, sautéing, or scratch cooking) is a plus.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment; understands back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, portioning, and cooking to correct temperatures.
• Plate dishes with attractive presentation and garnishing.
• Assist with opening/closing duties, station setup, cleanliness and organization.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and allergen awareness.
• Work well under pressure, multitask with speed and urgency.
• Communicate clearly with team to support smooth service.
