The ideal candidate has 1+ year of Line Cook experience, is 18+, and demonstrates strong teamwork, reading and math skills for recipes, plus adherence to sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of Line Cook experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of items in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items following standard recipes and menus.
• Handles food prep tasks including washing, cutting, and cooking ingredients.
• Tests food for proper preparation using tasting, smelling, and visual inspection.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety, and sanitation per health regulations.
• Coordinates with dining room staff and communicates orders effectively.
• Completes prep sheets and follows opening/closing procedures.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and maintains assigned areas.
• Participates in scheduled training programs.
