Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group in Hudson, OH is seeking a full-time Line Cook working 5:30am–1:30pm to prepare meals for residents and guests. You will follow menus, recipes, and events, delivering quality dishes in a supportive team environment.

You'll bring at least three years of line cook experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and solid communication skills. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and consistent presentation while collaborating with kitchen staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Present professional appearance with uniform and name tag.
