First Hospitality's Bistecca steakhouse in Dayton is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to prepare high-quality dishes under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring safe handling and consistent presentation.

You will follow recipes, perform mise en place, operate kitchen equipment, and work efficiently to meet service times while upholding the hotel brand's professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and instructions.
• Follow all food safety standards by date marking, rotation, and proper temp/time holding.
• Initiate preparation of food items based on anticipated needs.
• Properly store all food products during and after use.
• Assist in food control standards to reduce waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, etc.
• Maintain equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Contribute as a team member and support others as needed.
