Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Line Cook to join the Hotels team in Fort Lauderdale. You will prepare menu items according to recipes, manage guest orders, and support advanced cooking techniques while maintaining quality and presentation.

You will ensure clean, sanitary workstations, assist with training, and comply with health and safety regulations to deliver memorable hospitality experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain knowledge of advanced cooking techniques (e.g., sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) with the possibility of working a station independently as needed
• Inspect preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation standards
• Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Assist with training and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring guest and team member well-being
