Job summary

Bottleneck Management in Chicago is seeking a Line Cook to support our kitchen team in delivering genuine hospitality and high-quality dishes. You will follow recipes, manage par levels, and work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment, adherence to health codes, proper knife skills, and the ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Previous prep and cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good judgment skills and adaptive attitude.
• Must have all required food/alcohol certifications as designated by location.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare sauces and food items per prep lists and par guidelines.
• Comply with health code requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely per OSHA regulations and job position.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and surfaces.
• Support BOH/FOH team in a high-paced environment and assist other cooks during peak times.
