Parkclubca is seeking a line cook in Costa Mesa, CA. You will be trained across Grill, Sauté, Pantry and Steam stations and tested to ensure recipe adherence, procedures, and quality components. You will follow guest standards and perform opening, ongoing, and closing side-work duties.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and sanitation, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff. This position starts at an hourly rate with training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 3 years of experience as a restaurant cook.
• High school graduate.
• Food handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of cooking techniques required to prepare restaurant menu items.
• Ability to knowledge of menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, temperature, garnish and presentation.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of food serving and preparation equipment.
• Ability to comprehend food orders.

Responsabilités

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Cook for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor's instruction.
• Alert Executive Chef or Sous Chef as to any deficiencies of food items.
• Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.
