Dave & Buster’s / Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Line Cook who is passionate about quality ingredients, safety and guest experience. You will prep and cook menu items per recipes, maintain station cleanliness, and work with the service team to deliver fresh, timely meals.

Open to someone with at least 6 months cooking experience, capable of working days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Equal opportunity employer; training provided; benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards.
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo.
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner.
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures.
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned.

As a Line Cook, you are passionate about our ingredients, food quality standards and delivering a consistent Guest experience! You are an expert on our prep and spec recipes, operational standards, equipment and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience
