Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment seeks a Line Cook to prepare high-quality menu items, follow recipes, and maintain safety and sanitation standards. You will work with the service team to ensure orders are accurate and delivered fresh, while minimizing waste and upholding cleanliness.

You must have at least 6 months of line or prep cook experience, be 18+ with applicable Food Handlers Certification, and be ready to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description:

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Line Cooks prepare unforgettably delicious food that keeps our Guests coming back for more! As a Line Cook, you are passionate about our ingredients, food quality standards and delivering a consistent Guest experience! You are an expert on our prep and spec recipes, operational standards, equipment and utensils. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What Will You Be Doing Daily?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience
• 18 + years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
