Join the Lettuce Entertain You team as a Line Cook. You will contribute to a chef-driven kitchen at RPM Steak, preparing, producing and presenting menu items with attention to quality and timing.

Qualifications

• Line cooks are responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of all menu items.
• Must be available to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken directions.
• Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Read a thermometer correctly and efficiently.
• Communicate any food delays to the Coordinator or kitchen leadership.
• Maintain menu item counts and report when quantities fall below minimums.
• Accurately account for all items coming out of the station.
• Follow food allergy procedures and special orders.
