Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises Inc is hiring Prep Cooks for RPM Steak in Chicago. Prep Cooks are responsible for the preparation and production of readying foods, garnishes and condiments for the line or service.

You will work a variety of hours, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds while following safety procedures. Our team benefits from a chef-driven approach and opportunities for growth across 100+ restaurants nationwide.

Qualifications

• Prep Cooks must prepare ingredients according to prescribed recipes and standards.
• Ability to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Safe and efficient use of kitchen tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Read a thermometer correctly and monitor temperatures.
• Communicate any delays or issues to the Coordinator.
• Assist with delivery of food items and garnishes as needed.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
