Job summary

Blair Hill Inn in Maine seeks a reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will help prepare fresh, locally inspired ingredients for our farm-to-table dining experience at a Relais & Châteaux property overlooking Moosehead Lake.

We offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience and affordable shared housing, with a supportive, professional kitchen environment where you can grow your culinary skills.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for daily dinner service, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, stocks, and desserts.
• Follow recipes and prep lists with consistency and attention to detail.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and properly storing deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Support chefs with additional kitchen tasks as needed.
• Help ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Working alongside our talented chefs, you'll help prepare the fresh, locally inspired ingredients that define the dining experience at our Relais & Châteaux property overlooking Moosehead Lake.
