Job summary

Blair Hill Inn is seeking a reliable, organized Line Cook to join our culinary team for our year round high volume casual restaurant. Working alongside our talented chefs, you'll help prepare the fresh, locally inspired ingredients that define the dining experience at our Relais & Châteaux property overlooking Moosehead Lake.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys professional kitchen teamwork, and wants to grow skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Dependable, organized, and eager to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work flexible daytime and afternoon shifts, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for daily dinner service, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, stocks, and desserts
• Follow recipes and prep lists with consistency and attention to detail
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and properly storing deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Support chefs with additional kitchen tasks as needed
• Help ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
