Bars & Recreation is seeking a Kitchen Crew Member/Line Cook to prepare and plate food across multiple venues in Milwaukee. You will follow recipes, manage portions, and assist with on-site and off-site catering for events up to 1,000 guests.

Role requires prior professional kitchen experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends. On-site work at The New Fashioned with cross-training opportunities and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have some prior experience working in a professional commercial kitchen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to raise or lower objects more than 50 lbs.
• Must stand, walk, and move in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and guidelines.
• Follow prep lists, portions, and presentation specifications to ensure high quality.
• Set up stations as needed and cook on The New Fashioned line.
• Prepare catering trays for events up to 1,000 people with precision.
• Assist during private events at carving stations or guest-facing roles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
