Job summary

Firestone Walker Brewing Company in Buellton, CA is seeking a motivated line cook to join our kitchen team. You will pot, prep and plate items with precision, and work across broilers, ovens, grills and fryers to deliver consistent quality.

You’ll cook a variety of items, maintain portion control, and ensure sanitation and proper presentation. Weekend availability, physical stamina, and clear communication with staff are essential benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card.
• Available to work weekends.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Standing for long periods (up to 9 hours).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Accurately and efficiently cook meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products.
• Prepare appropriate garnishes and complete final plate presentation.
• Ensure quality of all food served and adhere to kitchen rules and procedures.
• Stock and maintain adequate levels of food at line stations and keep workstation clean.
