Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Young Harris, GA is seeking a Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team in a beautiful North Georgia mountain setting.

You will prepare breakfast dishes to high standards, work closely with servers, and uphold ServSafe practices while learning and growing in a rewarding hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous line cook or breakfast cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes with consistency and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast entrees and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, season, bake, roast, grill, broil, and steam a variety of foods.
• Prepare meats, vegetables, fruits, soups, sauces, and desserts.
• Ensure every plate is presented accurately with proper garnishes and portions.
• Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process.
• Handle food safely following ServSafe and sanitation standards.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food products.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) when applicable.
• Accommodate guests with food allergies and dietary preferences.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen team to deliver guest experiences.

Physical Requirements
