Qualifications

• Experience in café/food service is an asset.
• Experience with TouchBistro POS is an asset.
• Food Handler’s Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Starting wage of $19.00/hour + shared tips.

Responsibilities

• Barista & beverage service: prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and specialty beverages.
• Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and presented to a high standard.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Line Cook & food preparation: salads, bowls, smoothies, and light meals.
• Assist with portioning, assembling, plating, and food preparation.
• Prepare and bake gluten-free and vegan treats.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and café area.
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming experience.
• Process customer orders and payments using the POS system.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and inviting.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen and café cleanliness.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Key Responsibilities

Barista & Beverage Service

Certification
