Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen in Houston is seeking a friendly barista to welcome guests, take orders, and prepare coffee, tea, and light fare. You will use Toast POS for transactions, handle payments, and maintain a clean cafe environment.

The role requires strong customer service, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided, and you’ll be part of a lively team dedicated to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Toast POS.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Reliable team player with good time management skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
