Polar Ice is seeking a friendly Barista / Café Worker to join our team in a fast-paced café setting. You will prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, handle food items, maintain cleanliness, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a commitment to quality. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, and smoothies.
• Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Handle food preparation and presentation, including pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cashing out.

Schedule details:

This can be a part time or full time position based on candidate. Nights and weekends are the prime operating hours.
