Job summary

Embassy Suites Baltimore at BWI Airport in Linthicum Heights, MD, seeks a Line Cook for our hotel dining outlets. Prepare items to standard recipes for restaurant, banquet, and cafe service, ensuring freshness, quality, and timely delivery.

You will follow safety and sanitation standards, maintain cleanliness, and support cost-control through portioning and waste reduction. Must have HS diploma and Food Handlers certification; compensation is $17/hour with regular full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements).
• Must convey information clearly.
• Must evaluate and act quickly in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by hotel scheduling.
• Maintain proper uniform and grooming per brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and required preparation.
