Job summary

Del Webb Sun City in Bluffton, SC, part of Troon, is seeking a Line Cook for The Brackish Bar & Lounge. You will prepare a variety of food items for restaurant and banquet operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Pay is $20–$21 per hour.

You will work five days a week: Thursday through Monday, ensuring food safety, proper storage, and adherence to sanitation standards. A high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and Food Safety training are preferred for growth withinTro ons

• Regular and reliable attendance.

General Purpose:

Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guestconsumptionand enjoyment.

Pay: $20 - $21

Preparessufficient quantities offoodproductin accordancetoproduction plan or forecast needs.

Utilizes whole foodproductseliminatingany waste.

Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.

Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortagesin a timely manner.

Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.

Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties asrequired.

Available to work five days a week: Thursday - Monday

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes and smells.
• Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionallysits,climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Regularlylifts upto 50 pounds and occasionallylifts upto 100 pounds.
