Channahon Park District is seeking a Cook to prepare and present high-quality meals for members and guests at Heritage Bluffs Golf Club. You will follow recipes, uphold sanitation standards, and support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced golf club environment.

The role requires someone who can work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak season events with a strong eye for detail and teamwork. Experience in a kitchen and proper food handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as cook or line/prep cook preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and safe food handling practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to club recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and maintain prep and line stations before, during and after service.
• Assist with food prep for a la carte dining, banquets, and events.
• Monitor food quality, temperatures and safety; minimize waste and manage inventory.
