Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specs, presentation standards, and guest requests.
  • Complete daily requisitions for food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies with focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Bring fresh, high-quality ingredients to life while maintaining flavor, portioning, and presentation consistency.
  • Handle proteins, produce, and perishables with proper storage, labeling, rotation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized station and storage areas in line with Health Department standards.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, and other tools.
  • Support Sous Chefs, Executive Chef, and teammates during service, prep, events, and daily operations.
  • Move with purpose during high-volume periods while staying calm, communicative, and team-focused.

What You\'ll Bring To The Line
  • At least two years of cooking experience in a similar high-volume kitchen environment.
  • A current Maricopa County Food Service Worker card or certification.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary school or apprenticeship training is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking fundamentals, including sauces, stocks, cooking methods, knife skills, and recipe execution.
  • A solid understanding of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and Health Department requirements.
  • Basic math skills for recipe preparation, portioning, and kitchen measurements.
  • The ability to prioritize, stay organized, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, preferred.
  • A professional appearance and commitment to the grooming standards of a luxury resort environment.
