Job summary

Lake Wildwood Association is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing menu items at your station, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring quality and presentation across all dishes.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of line cook experience, strong multitasking abilities, and knowledge of HAACP and sanitation guidelines. English proficiency is required. Weekend and evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation guidelines, HAACP.
• ServSafe Certification or Food Handler's Card required or able to obtain.
• Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate menu items for assigned station and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations for smooth service.
• Cook using broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing and other methods as required.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and sanitation; report equipment issues to management.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Overview

Lake Wildwood is an active, gated community located about one hour northeast of Sacramento in the historic Gold Rush foothills of Nevada County. The welcoming Northern California golf community features an 18-hole championship golf course meandering through neighborhoods and homesites. The Clubhouse is home to The Oaks, our on-site restaurant.

Responsibilities

• The Line Cook is responsible for preparing all menu items assigned to their station and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Ensure only high-quality food is served to members and guests.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, including all cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to management.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Pay Range: $19 - $21/Hr DOE
