Location Description
Located on the beachfront between the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound, our Sanderling Resort offers an idyllic workplace with stunning views, a caring culture, and excellent staff. Overview
We are seeking a passionate culinary leader to join our team as a Lead Cook. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-volume professional kitchens, be a college graduate in culinary arts, creative, motivated, and a hands-on leader. Responsibilities include managing daily food production, supporting the team, ensuring safety and quality standards, and contributing to the development of menus reflecting seasonal availability.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma plus culinary schooling preferred; 2+ years of related experience; familiarity with hospitality practices is a plus.
Skills and Abilities: Friendly guest service, food handling and safety, leadership, problem-solving, and familiarity with Eco Sure Inspections is advantageous.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort
Primarily indoor work involving exposure to high temperatures, chemicals, noise, and physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Safety precautions and protective equipment are required.
