Job summary

Westminster Village in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a FT Non-Exempt cook to join our culinary team serving residents across independent living, assisted living and memory care. The role focuses on preparing meals according to approved recipes, maintaining temperatures, and ensuring timely service.

Candidates should have at least two years of fine dining experience, follow recipes, keep utensils and stations clean, and participate in ongoing culinary education.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in fine dining.
• Follow selected recipes for meals to be prepared.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served at proper temperatures.
• Ensure needed and appropriate supplies are available prior to the start of any cooking cycle.
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs designed to keep abreast of changes in culinary profession.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
