Westminster Place in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced cook to join our dining team. You will prepare a variety of dishes from scratch, follow safety guidelines, and support multiple dining areas. With 2+ years of restaurant or cafeteria cooking, you will contribute to a mission-driven community that values compassion and collaboration.

• 2+ years of Restaurant/Cafeteria Cooking experience.
• Serve safe food handlers preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a variety of dishes from scratch, including accompaniments and garnishes.
• Adhering to food safety and quality guidelines.
• Working across different dining areas as needed.
• Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of preparation techniques for all dining settings.
• Planning and organizing daily food production to ensure timely service.
• Maintaining proper portioning, plating, and presentation standards.
