We are seeking a passionate individual who loves cooking to join our team. You should be creative, motivated, and eager to develop your culinary skills!

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a professional kitchen, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work with culinary leadership to create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and the restaurant's concept.

The Cook assists the Chef in food production and preparation for various settings including kitchen prep, cafeteria, banquets, dining room, and fine dining. The role involves passive leadership in maintaining adequate production levels among kitchen staff.

Your Role:

  1. Develop your knowledge of various cooking techniques and procedures.
  2. Enhance skills in using knives and kitchen equipment.
  3. Recreate menu items for the restaurant and banquets.
  4. Ensure consistency in cooking and presentation.
  5. Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
  6. Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
  7. Prepare ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat).
  8. Follow kitchen sanitization standards.
  9. Properly store all food and supplies.
  10. Maintain responsibility for ingredient quality.

Qualifications:

  1. Active Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain it.
  2. Willingness to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  3. Strong organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work independently.
  5. Ability to stand for long periods.
  6. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  7. Desire to exceed expectations.
  8. Energetic personality.
