Reveler’s Hour is a wine and pasta focused restaurant in Washington DC. Reveler’s Hour is part of the same restaurant group that includes Tail Up Goat, a Michelin starred, James Beard nominated restaurant. We emphasize sustainability, seasonal cooking, and responsible sourcing. We are seeking full-time and part-time line cooks who share these passions and want to be part of an inclusive, professional, and positive working environment.

Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
  1. Setting up and helping to prep the station for service
  2. Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces
  3. Cooking food by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods according to recipes and standards
  4. Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation by proper handling and storage
  5. Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces during and after shifts
  6. Performing inventory checks and maintaining food storage logs
  7. Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:
  1. Basic written and verbal communication skills
  2. Organizational skills
  3. Accuracy and speed in task execution
  4. Ability to work well as part of a team
  5. Ability to follow directions and instructions
Education and Experience Requirements:
  1. One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  2. Culinary Arts certification preferred
  3. Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  4. Knowledge of industry best practices

Pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour based on experience. Tips are also earned based on hours worked.
