Job summary

Tustin Ranch Golf Club, part of Troon, is seeking a part-time line cook to join a fast-paced, hospitality-focused kitchen in Tustin, CA. The role offers hourly compensation of $19.00 to $20.00, depending on experience, with benefits eligibility as described by Troon policies.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in culinary arts and at least two years of culinary experience, or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lears and maintains standards in food production and quality.
• Expedites orders in a timely manner.
• Practices excellent operational sanitation.
• Executes scheduled banquet functions.
• Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
• Helps reduce loss/waste.
• Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.
• Actively participates in training efforts.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Checks and dates all deliveries received and report variances to chef in charge.
• Verifies coolers are at proper temperatures and cleaned daily.
• Processes inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production.
• Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
• Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.

Education

Compensation : $19.00 - $20.00 per hour BOE

Key Responsibilities of the Line Cook:
