Job summary

Skaneateles Fields Resort and Spa in the Finger Lakes region of New York seeks a Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will handle production, preparation and presentation of menu items in a fast-paced setting.

We value a positive attitude, 2+ years of full-service restaurant experience with scratch cooking, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Full-time benefits include PTO, healthcare, 401K and travel rewards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a positive attitude.
• At least 2 years of full-service restaurant experience with scratch cooking skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Production, preparation and presentation of food in the restaurant
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations in a quality manner
• Patience with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Must possess culinary knowledge and skills with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to describe all dishes on the menu
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• A team player with good communication skills
