Job summary

Arbor Terrace Lake Worth in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a Cook to join our dining team, providing delicious meals to residents in a warm environment. The role offers Full-Time and Part-Time options with a consistent daytime schedule from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

You will prepare meals per approved menus, follow safety standards, maintain kitchen organization, and collaborate with the Dining Director to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Prior Cook experience in commercial kitchens is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Restaurant Cook, or in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious and flavorful meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Prepare and serve meals with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen organization.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain proper storage procedures.
• Collaborate with Dining Director and culinary team to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.

What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll help create an exceptional dining experience for our residents by:

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to excellence.

• Senior living, healthcare, hotel, or restaurant experience is a plus.
