Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a part-time Cook (PRN) in Manassas, VA. Earn $19–$22 per hour with choose-your-schedule options: 6:00am–2:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm, every other weekend, and one to two additional weekdays as determined.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environment
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, food safety, and portion control
• Experience with large-batch cooking preferred
• Experience with special diets or long-term care dining is a plus
• A positive attitude and passion for serving others

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious meals using established recipes, menu cycles, and diet modifications
• Help create an exceptional dining experience for residents every day
• Assist with food deliveries, inventory rotation, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
• Partner with the Dining Director to ensure smooth meal service and production flow
