As a Line Cook at SSP, you can expect to:

  • Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes
  • Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily
  • Requisition and stock all necessary food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate products properly
  • Set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists
  • Ensure the quality of served products
  • Perform cleaning tasks as assigned to meet health standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
