Position Summary:

As a Cook, you will prepare menu items according to company policies and standards, aiming to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a quality work environment under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

Essential Duties:

  • Report to work well groomed, in a clean uniform, practicing good personal hygiene.
  • Use, maintain, and clean all kitchen equipment and preparation areas.
  • Stock and rotate products on the cooking line.
  • Understand cooking stations, menu items, and prep procedures to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Cook and prepare menu items per guest requests, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor food temperatures to reduce foodborne illness risks.
  • Identify and correct system issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate with management and coworkers about product, safety, or equipment issues.

Qualifications:

  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service, taught through in-house training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.

Physical Requirements / Environment:

  • High mobility and flexibility.
  • Ability to work irregular hours under stress during peak times.
  • High coordination levels.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Fit through a 30-inch opening.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors.
  • Continuous standing and walking.

Compensation: $15.47 - $18.00 per hour
