Job summary

Legends Bay Casino is seeking a Line Cook for the Legends Bay Grill to support the Chef. You will prepare menu items, ensure quality and presentation, and finish and garnish dishes with care.

The role requires 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, a high school diploma or GED, and a 21+ age minimum. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and weekend availability is common in this busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Responsible for preparing menu items per recipes from Sous/Executive Chef.
• Maintains quality and presentation to company standards.
• Prepares, finishes and garnishes all menu items.

Job Description: The Line Cook will support the Legends Bay Grill Chef.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for preparing menu items as directed by the recipes provided by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.
• Ensures that the quality and presentation of food products meet company standards.
• Responsible for preparing, finishing and garnishing all menu items.
• Practices proper food and knife handling.
• Uses and applies proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
• Maintain a clean workstation during service time.
• Disinfects and sanitizes cutting boards and worktables.
• Ensures kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are always maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must have related kitchen tools

Qualifications Education and Experience

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
• 1 year restaurant experience preferred
