Job summary

Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming seeks a Cook III to mentor apprentices and oversee daily culinary production while preparing for a supervisor track. Located on a luxury ranch, the role emphasizes high standards and teamwork.

You will follow WLW SOPs, ensure food quality and safety, manage food and labor costs, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen team, with housing and meals provided. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must have culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and train Cooks III, interns, and stewards while learning to supervise line shift production.
  • Learn and practice all culinary duties and food production standards for supervisor readiness.
  • Follow all Food and Beverage WLW SOPs, health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
  • Inspect all incoming foods for freshness and proper specifications.
  • Store raw foods and prepared items following mandated procedures.
  • Maintain food prep records in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Manage food cost and labor cost, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing overtime.
  • Supervise the stewarding department for career development and advancement.
  • Foster a respectful, cooperative work environment and teamwork.
  • Assist with moving supplies to multiple ranch venues and operate ranch vehicle.
