What You’ll Do

  1. Lead the preparation, presentation, and innovation of desserts and pastries, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  2. Supervise and mentor pastry staff, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
  3. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and exquisite presentation.
  4. Develop and implement new dessert menus and seasonal specials, showcasing innovative techniques and flavors.
  5. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  6. Manage inventory and supplies, supporting cost control initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  1. 2+ years in a pastry leadership role, with a proven track record of creating exceptional desserts.
  2. Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts.
  3. Expertise in pastry techniques, including modern and traditional methods.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  7. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  8. Experience with menu planning and cost control strategies.
  9. Knowledge of molecular gastronomy and innovative pastry techniques.
  10. Food safety certification.
  11. Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
