Alila Marea Beach Resort is a Boundless Hotel by Hyatt, located in North County, San Diego, just 32 miles north of San Diego International Airport, and central to Encinitas, a charming seaside town along California’s Coastal Highway 101.

The resort combines understated elegance with coastal views from nearly every guestroom. Designed to emulate the surrounding coastal bluff, beach, and ocean, it features natural stone, warm woods, and clean lines for a tranquil retreat with a sublime backdrop.

Facilities include 130 guestrooms, 6,626 sq/ft of meeting space, a full-service spa, two restaurants (Vaga and Pocket), and a café. The resort emphasizes high-touch barefoot luxury and service, embodying the Alila Way.

We are seeking an intermediate line cook with good communication and culinary skills. The ideal candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should possess professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures, work at a single station, and require supervision and training.

Qualifications
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Preferably 2 years of previous line experience.

  • A genuine desire to satisfy others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.50.
