Buona Forchetta in San Diego is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook items to our standards in a fast-paced environment, delivering consistent, quality dishes to guests.

This is a tipped position; you should be comfortable standing long hours and lifting up to 50lbs while maintaining strict food safety and teamwork with the kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in high-volume restaurants as a Line Cook.
• Proficiency in preparing and cooking items efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented with high quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
