Willamette Valley Vineyards is seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen operations in the Portland Metro-Vancouver area.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Order, stock, process, and prepare ingredients as necessary to prepare menu items.
  • Prepare food items prior to and during mealtime periods.
  • Prepare and butcher a variety of meats, cheeses, produce, and other food products daily.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dining, and service areas during shifts.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient food levels for smooth service.
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
  • Ensure consistency in plate presentation according to recipes, checklists, and photos.
  • Follow safe kitchen operation practices.
  • Operate kitchen utensils and equipment including fryers, pots, pans, stoves, ovens, grills, dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and knives.
  • Comply with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Assist with monthly inventory and attend management meetings.
  • Support the company's sustainability and green initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Valid/current Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Lift up to 40 lbs
  • Stand for most of the workday
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays
