Mish Mish is seeking a strong LINE COOK with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and growth potential.

Position Summary:

A Line Cook’s major responsibility is to prepare food, assist kitchen staff in food preparation, and set up stations according to instructions from the Chef, ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
  • Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
  • Restock items as needed during the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the station.
  • Properly use and maintain all equipment.
  • Assist with cleaning and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Prepare a variety of food including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items.
  • Store all food items properly with correct dating.
  • Use food prep tools according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Follow closing protocols for the station.
  • Support all duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs.
Training/Experience/Education:

Professional communication skills are required. Ability to follow directions, work in a team, stay calm under pressure, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, organized, and committed to quality service and food knowledge.
