Job summary

Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen in Norfolk, VA is hiring Line and Pizza Cooks to join our upscale casual dining team. You will follow recipes, handle food safely, manage time to meet guest requests, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, team-focused, able to listen and communicate effectively, and able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 55 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all aspects of preparation, execution and plating.
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Maintain proper uniform standards.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment, including knives, slicer, salamander, oven, stove, mixer and fryer.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
