The Hotel Chelsea is hiring Line Cooks for a new Japanese restaurant concept opening in Q2 2025.

About This Role

The Line Cook ensures that culinary and operational standards are met at Sunday Hospitality. They should be familiar with the menu, cook and plate dishes efficiently, and adhere to sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Restock ingredients during shifts.
  • Maintain sanitation standards.
  • Inspect and organize workstations, addressing deficiencies.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of high-volume restaurant cooking experience.
  • Fine dining and Japanese restaurant experience preferred.
  • Experience with restaurant openings preferred.
  • Culinary Art Degree preferred.
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate required.
  • Passion for hospitality excellence.
  • Team player with a flexible, high-pressure environment attitude.
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
