Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a Line Cook for Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill in Millville, NJ. The role demands creativity with quality ingredients and a focus on delivering a great dining experience for guests in a high-volume kitchen.

You will set up stations, prep and cook items, and work with the kitchen team to ensure timely, high-quality plates. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to stand long hours, and able to lift up to 40 pounds, with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, recipes, equipment, and procedures.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends & holidays.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Answer, report and follow kitchen manager's instructions.
