Job description

Do you want to gain experience from a qualified and talented Culinary Team? Well, you are in luck because The Hilton Mystic is looking for a line cook!

Compensation: $19.00-21.00 based on experience

The ideal candidate for this position

  • Professional culinary experience, with a minimum 2 years grill and sauté experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary degree preferred.
  • Clear understanding of menu items.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, food items, equipment, etc.
  • Be able to multi-task in high volume kitchen.

What you will be doing

  • Set up and stock all food stations with necessary supplies.
  • Prep all needed food items for service.
  • With the help of kitchen staff, proper execution of menu items.
  • Ensure that all food is made in a timely fashion and always in high quality.
  • Certify that all nutrition and sanitation regulations are maintained.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Continuous: reaching, bending, lifting, carrying.
  • Be able to stand and be on foot for the majority of the scheduled shift.
