Job summary

Flower Child in Meridian is hiring a line cook for fast-paced kitchen work. You will prepare dishes from scratch, follow standardized recipes, and maintain high food-safety standards while delivering quality meals to guests.

You should have at least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant, be able to stand long hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and work weekends or holidays as needed for smooth service.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes to produce consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards; work clean and efficiently.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be ready to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation.

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
