Job summary

Flower Child, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, seeks a Line Cook to join its busy kitchen. You will prepare dishes from scratch, follow recipes, and maintain quality in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience, capable communication, and the physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; training and growth opportunities within the brand await.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch following recipes for consistent results.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• You have an eye for detail and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare food from scratch by following our recipes to produce consistent results
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
